An Average Campaign races are permanent unlocks that adjust your stats, add passives and change your look. Alpha v0.5.1 has ten: Human, Robloxian, Dwarf, Elf, Kobold, Withered, Lunaeia, Drakai, Nyvari and E'tali. You earn each through an achievement, buy it once with Cealts, and switch between owned races in the lobby. The most searched one, Dwarf, comes from beating the Piloted Hearth Monarch at the end of the Mines and paying 50 Cealts.
This page uses the official Roblox game page, the official Trello and player-documented notes up to v0.5.1.4, checked on October 20, 2026. The Trello has no race cards; it was last edited on April 23, 2026, before most races existed. The game is in Alpha, so treat the numbers as a snapshot.

How unlocking and switching races works
- Each race takes two steps: earn its achievement in a run, then pay its Cealts in the lobby. Owned races stay on your account and swap freely between runs.
- Cealts come from runs (community notes say a full clear pays 70) or from the Noble, who sells them for Robux.
- Arrival dates: Human and Robloxian with April Fools 2026; Kobold, Dwarf, Elf and Withered in v0.4.2.1 (May 18, 2026); Lunaeia in v0.4.3 (May 30); Drakai in v0.5.0 (August 17); Nyvari, the newest, with the Den bounties in v0.5.1 (September 15).

How to get the Dwarf race
- In Forest rounds 4 to 7, take the Elven Camp. It is far more common than most encounters, and an Adventurer's Compass raises its odds.
- Pick "Approach the Elves", "A wager?", "What's in it for us?", "Ok, we'll fight them", "Follow the elf" and "Attack the camp".
- Beat Captain Grimbly and two Dwarven Blasters, then choose "Continue into the mines".
- Clear all seven Mines stages. Stage 7 is the Piloted Hearth Monarch (129 HP solo, 490 with five players).
- The kill grants Steampunk Slammer, which also unlocks the Steam Engine and Steam Conversion boons. Buy Dwarf for 50 Cealts.

How to get the Withered race
- In Dungeon rounds 4 to 12, take A Dark Mirror. A Challenge Medal raises its odds.
- Touch the mirror, approach the old man, ask "Can you grant me power?" and pick "Ready yourself".
- Defeat The Master (155 HP solo). He revives at full HP: two extra lives for one to three players, three for larger parties.
- After the fight choose "..." and then "Deal". Your party now carries Claimed Soul for the rest of the run: healing received x0.5 and ability damage taken x1.1.
- Reach and beat the Bone Drake on that same run (a guide is on the bosses page); the fight is noticeably harder. Cycle of Death then lets you buy Withered for 300 Cealts.

How to get the Kobold race
- In Forest rounds 2 to 6, take A Familiar Kobold. Choose "Approach the Kobold", "What's wrong?", "Have you tried the dungeon up ahead?", "Happy to help, Zatt", then take the gifts (2 Red Scales and a Gemstone).
- Later that run, the Dungeon can roll A Familiar Kobold!. Join Zatt's battle.
- Win three back-to-back undead waves, the last led by the Undead Hulk Valus. Patch v0.5.1.1 made these fights easier solo.
- Finish the dialogue for A Small Favor (plus the Heroic Explorer outfit) and pay 200 Cealts.

How to get Lunaeia
Lunaeia, the lore origin of the vampire curse, needs five achievements in any order and any number of runs. All run through the Bloodkin Warlock subclass of Mage.

Vampiric Bloodline (100 Cealts) first needs two achievements: defeat a Vampire, a common Dungeon enemy, and become a Bloodkin Warlock via the same Upsidedown Individual offer. Drakai, Nyvari and races you cannot get
Drakai
Community notes say the Timestream Entanglement One-Shot is the only event that is not limited-time. For the true ending, defeat the optional bosses Galdamir and Alar, then Aion, in one run; Aion appearing as Aion, Son of the World Tree confirms the route. Setting Things Straight unlocks Drakai for 100 Cealts. RoadToKing's event guide covers the bosses.
Nyvari
- Find The Den in the Dungeon (most likely around rounds 2 and 3 since v0.5.1). Pay the 100-gold toll or slip past with a Banana Peel.
- Choose "Gather insightful info", "Unless?", "Tell me about them" and accept the wanted posters.
- In that run, defeat two of Raphne, Antonio Seven Scales and Mizukari. The Collector is optional.
- Bounty Hunter unlocks Nyvari for 100 Cealts; RoadToKing's bounty guide shows the fights.
Unobtainable and rumored races
- Robloxian came from the April Fools 2026 event, which has ended, so it is unobtainable for now.
- E'tali is limited to some content creators.
- A "Gaia Dweller" entry on some community lists is a joke with fake requirements; no patch note mentions it.

Can you get the Withered race solo?
Yes. Solo, The Master has 155 HP and two extra lives. The hard part is reaching and beating the Bone Drake while Claimed Soul halves your healing.
Is there a vampire race in AAC?
Lunaeia is the vampire-themed race, unlocked with five Bloodkin Warlock achievements and 200 Cealts. Vampire itself is a Dungeon enemy, and Vampiric Bloodline is a boon that does nothing on Lunaeia.
